Please drop your gently used coats, mittens, gloves, hats and boots to the Stanley school office to support the McDevitt clothing drive. Many kids are in need of warm clothes for the upcoming cold months. Please help if you are able!
Due to our fast approaching Holiday Shop starting Nov. 28th, Thanksgiving break and short school weeks we are under a tight time crunch. Consequently, we are having a "Community wrap night" to keep all gifts at school. Please join us November 17th in the Stanley School Library from 5:00 to 7:45p.m. Even one hour would be very helpful!!

There will be an MCAS informational meeting for parents on November 7, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the McDevitt Middle School in Waltham. Please attend the meeting for information, questions and concerns about the MCAS tests this year!
This adults only evening is a great chance to meet your child's teacher and see the classroom. 6-8pm.
We will be having our first restaurant night on Tuesday, September 27th from 5 - 8 p.m. 15% of our proceeds will go to the Stanley PTO. YOU WILL NEED A COUPON in order for Stanley to received our proceeds! Click here to download the coupon. Please note, we will be selling cart cards AT the event to 'double dip' our fundraising efforts. Also, this will be one of the ONLY restaurant nights we will be having this year, so please help us make it a success! This is a GREAT way to see families after the summer!
Welcome back to school! The Stanley school will be hosting a Back to School night on Thrusday, September 22 from 6:00 - 8:30p. More information will be coming home from your child's teacher. This is an opportunity to meet your child's teacher, visit his/her classroom and understand what he/she will be learning this year. Please note that this is an adults only evening so please arrange childcare as needed.
The PTO membership packets went out last week. Please not that this is an annual membership and you must register again even if you were a member last year. Please find an explanation of what the PTO does throughout the year as well as volunteer opportunities. If you did NOT get a packet and would like to sign your family up to be members, please contact Meg Zinda at firstname.lastname@example.org. 100% of membership dues goes to PTO efforts throughout the year!
